World’s largest Cruise Ships

Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines latest most innovative and imaginative ships yet, sisterships Oasis and Allure of the Seas are designed around 7 neighborhood concepts, each with a distinct personality and range of sights and activities. From the awe-inspiring seaside seating of the Aquaeater to the lush green landscape of Central Park, there's something for everyone to discover on the grandest ships the world has ever seen. With 28 ultra-modern loft suites and 2,700 spacious staterooms, this 17-deck marvel proves that the impossible, is possible.

Audico delivered the shipwide Lighting Control System for all the public spaces, for the Royal, Loft and A-suite cabins and also the ship's Deck Lighting control system. The lighting control systems in public spaces utilize the latest Helvar router based technology. All the public spaces areas are seamlessly integrated to operate as one shipwide dimming system. This networked  dimming control system is the key in commanding the multitude of changing lighting scenes onboard, altering both the interior and exterior moods of the ship areas. For the first time, the Lighting Control System of the vessel was not only designed to maximise the passenger comfort, but also to meet with the latest energy saving standards and to support remote monitoring and controllability - through an IT networked solution. This remote system access is a new development and allows Audico to do changes in the settings of the lighting, monitoring, diagnostics and possible repair from a shore, far away from vessel itinerary.

Audico also delivered selected effect lighting control and professional RGB LED fixture combinations for the Boardwalk, Promenade and Aquaeater areas. Large ships need large systems. When the system is also one of the ship’s most important safety systems, it must be extremely reliable. Audico also delivered the probably the worlds largest monitorable shipwide Public Address and Voice Evacuation systems for the Oasis and the Allure. The core of the system consists of six sound system racks with signal control, DSP systems and ampliers in all the different fire zones around the ship with over 10 000 speakers delivering the message. The same system is also used for background music in hallways and stairs onboard.

Audiovisual project deliveries to the marine industry are an important part of Audico’s business. The company has delivered challenging systems for more than 40 of the most prestigious cruise ships sailing all over the world. Though focused on luxury cruisers, the system installations also include vessels like cruise ferries and megayachts. Cruise ships not only feature some of the most innovative and advanced Audio Visual (A/V) systems in the world, but are also incorporated into the most demanding environments to host these complex systems. Our expertise in marine markets ranges from traditional AV solutions to safety, entertainment, lighting control systems, digital media management and content management. Advanced technology and visual appeal are particularly important criteria for cruise liners and many of our systems are unique. Durability is also an important issue. Our operation relies on our professional staff, whose expertise is the result of many years of work in this industry.
